The unit has been designed for patient comfort with a choice of fully adjustable chairs and beds and facilities such as iPads and portable DVD players.

The highly-trained staff can help patients and carers to understand and cope with the treatment and any potential side effects. Allied health professionals and wellness therapists are also available in Day oncology and patients can have a medical review by a doctor if they are feeling unwell.

The ONJCWC incorporates a Day Oncology & Apheresis unit. Most chemotherapy treatments are here.

The unit has the latest equipment and highly-trained staff who understand a diagnosis of cancer and undergoing chemotherapy can be challenging.
