What to expect
The ABI Rehab clinic is run at Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre on Monday mornings.
You will see a rehabilitation medicine doctor for a half hour appointment.
What to bring
When you come to hospital for your appointment, you need to bring:
- Medicare card
- Health care card/concession card (if applicable)
- TAC or Workcover claim number (if relevant)
- Adverse drug alert card (if you have one)
- X-ray films, scans, ultrasounds or any other test results or reports
- Medicines you need to take while you are here
- List of medicines you are currently taking (or the boxes) including herbal supplements and vitamins
- Glasses, hearing aid, walking frame (if applicable)
- Your appointment letter

Referrals
For patients
You need a referral from your GP, medical practitioner or specialist to access this clinic.
We will send you a letter with an appointment. If you have not received this letter after 4 weeks, please contact us.
For health professionals
Refer your patient to Dr Wendy Castle, ABI Rehabilitation Medicine Physician.
