Using Library resources when away from Austin Health is easy.  Go directly to the Library external site http://www.austin.org.au/library, sign in with your Library card number and PIN when prompted, and then all resources (except for UpToDate) will be available in the same way as they are onsite.

Draft national consensus statement : essential elements for safe and high-quality end-of-life care in acute hospitals. Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, 2014.

The ACSQHC is seeking feedback on this draft national consensus statement.  The purpose of the consensus statement is to set out the expected standard of care and agreed practice for recognising and responding to people in need of end-of-life care in acute hospitals.  The consultation process on this draft document is open until 31 March 2014. 

The Library has recently rebuilt our Evidence-based practice part of our website and it is looking good.  We hope that it will make EBP finding tools relevant to your particular area much easier to locate.  We are happy to take feedback and always grateful for ideas of other resources to add too!
