About us
Our General & Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation team at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre provides rehabilitation for patients following orthopaedic surgery, fractures and other medical problems.
Our services
We provide rehabilitation for patients following:
- Orthopaedic surgery, such as hip and knee replacements
- Fractures (broken bones)
We also provide therapy programs for general surgical and medical patients following:
- Heart attack
- Transplant surgery
- Prolonged ICU admissions, resulting in severe deconditioning
As a guide, the average hospital stay is about 10-14 days for orthopaedic rehabilitation and 3-4 weeks for medical and surgical rehabilitation.
